I don't know if its just that she is in preschool now or what, but Karley sure seems grown up these days. I bet she has grown a bunch the last few months. She is harder to carry around, not because she weighs so much more, but because her legs are getting so long! Of course, she doesn't really need to be carried anymore, but I guess I do it because I still can. I know my baby is growing up and one day, before I know it I won't be able to carry her around (and someday she won't let me!).
Karley started out as such a mystery. Even determining whether or not I was pregnant with her was a bit tricky. But now it seems impossible that there was ever life without her. She is sweet, smart, funny, and has a beautiful smile. I still think of her as my "breath of fresh air" when my day hasn't gone so well with her sister. Can you tell this was one of those days????

Hey, Brenna, here's a hug from me to {{{{{you}}}}!
My first attempt got lost in web somewhere....
Anyway, I said someting about each kid (each person) being unique, and that surely shows with Karley and Julia!!!
I know you are working hard to make this a good experience for all.... and that you will probably get more out of it than either Julia or Karley, at least for a time. Just keep up all the good work.....
I especially liked the story about the spider... what a teriffic lesson.

Hi Brenna, I'm sending a hug and a prayer. I know how hard it can get some days with a strong-willed child. Yes, John was my Karley so I know what you are going through. I think Julia and Karley will get more out of home schooling than you will ever realize. They have a loving, patient Mom who can teach them more than any public school teacher anywhere. An example is the spider. How in the world did you find the huge spider and web, get the camera ready and get the kids out side in place in time to see the spider catch a bee? WOW!
Hang in there, your doing great! Love, Marie
